Looking To Buy A Home In Saskatoon?

Buying a home is a big step! Whether you’re buying your first home, your dream home, or your tenth investment property, yours will be a big investment. I know how important this is to you, and I’ll work to make sure we find the perfect property for your unique circumstances. I know the market and love real estate, and I’ll educate you (I was a teacher for 30 years – I can’t help it!!) throughout the buying experience.

Finding the perfect property is just one way I can help you with your real estate purchase. As a real estate agent, I have ongoing access to experts in every related field from lending to relocation.

Steps to buying a home.

Step 1: Schedule a call.

Start by booking a call with me and having a simple conversation about your home buying goals.

Step 2: Target what you’re looking for

After our initial call, based on all the newfound information, I’ll recommend a few local neighborhoods that would be the most suitable areas for your unique needs and desired Saskatoon lifestyle.

Step 3: Explore Saskatoon

Whether you are relocating here or not, we will still plan on scheduling a suitable time to go out and tour some specific neighborhoods and areas that you’re most interested in. The tour is an excellent time for me to learn more about some of the most important things you’re looking for in your ideal Saskatoon neighborhood.

Step 4: Viewing Homes

After you have filled out our Saskatoon VIP Home Finder form I’ll personally review the details and begin selecting the most suitable options and schedule showings for us to view the homes right away.

Step 5: Make an Offer

After our search efforts have paid off and we have finally found “the one”, I’ll carefully prepare and review the offer and all the necessary documents with you. I’ll advise you on the price, terms, and conditions and explain what happens next. Then I’ll negotiate until we have an accepted offer with the price, terms, and conditions you are pleased with.

Step 6: Our Due Diligence

Now that we have an accepted offer (congratulations btw), we can begin getting necessary documents to the mortgage broker, scheduling a home inspection, getting in touch with a lawyer for any real estate-related advice regarding the transaction, and carefully reviewing and approving the necessary City files, title, and disclosures. Once you are satisfied with everything and have the mortgage approved and, if required, appraisal, then we will remove the conditions.

Step 7: Closing the Sale

After the conditions are removed, the sale is now firm. Now the most challenging part is waiting until completion and possession day when you’ll get to move into your new Saskatoon home.
